Twistedpaw sighed. "Well... I've never told anyone... not even my mentor, but as a kit, the others-" He quickly cut himself off. He shouldn't tell anyone he just met everything about himself. "Visible flaws only seem to make others notice your weaknesses. And use it against you." That was all he said, before looking away and falling silent.

"Ah." Ghostwind said, not pushing on the issue. "I understand. Anyways, this is Songpaw, my apprentice. If you two want to talk, then go ahead. I won't be eavesdropping." She said, then turned towards Ravenfrost. "How's your old mentor doing?"

"I-uh, I- Er..." Twistedpaw seemed to suddenly get really nervous, and it was obvious he wasn't very social often. "L-lets look around. I'd rather not make friends in other clans." Then he hesitated for a moment. "U-Unless you want to do something else. I don't want to waste your time." He often believed he was wasting people's time, even in his own clan.

She narrowed her eyes slightly, then laughed. "Of course it's not a waste of time. I mean, I'm the one who asked you if you'd like to come with me. I know seeing all these cats can be overwhelming- I'm honestly kind of ready to leave the clearing for a while too."

"I just feel nervous around the other clans. Of course, back at camp, I'm still a nervous mess, but here I'm expecting someone in, like, riverclan or something, to jump out and attack me." He still seemed scared at the idea of walking away from Ravenfrost. He kinda thought of him as family.
