{So far it's just us but whatever}

Twistedpaw followed his mentor, as they left to go to the gathering. "My first gathering." He seemed extremely nervous, and was trying to hold his tail as straight as possible, despite the pain that came from that.

"You'll be fine." Ravenfrost said briskly as they walked, his eyes flitting to take in his apprentice's obviously nervous form. "If you decide to mingle, be careful and don't do anything stupid. And remember, don't say anything that should stay within Shadowclan."

"Got it." Twistedpaw walked quietly for a moment. "How was your first gathering?"He said suddenly. He let his tail go to its normal crooked form for a moment, which he did when he felt calm and safe, before quickly trying to straighten it again.

Ravenfrost chuckled a bit, nudging his apprentice. "It was uneventful. Of course- and this is just a secret for you," he added as he continued with the playful tone he only used with his apprentice. "-I was terrified. I wanted to make a good impression with the other apprentices from other clans but it didn't really matter. I calmed down after a few minutes, that'll probably be the same for you."

Twistedpaw nodded and smiled. Then, he looked away, talking to himself like he usually did. "Okay... I'll be safe there... nobody will get into any fights... because it's the full moon... yeah." Then he froze, and had a scared look on his face. "What if I make a bad example for Shadowclan with my tail?! And we can't turn around, we're almost there!" He looked at Ravenfrost in panic.

"If any other clan calls you weak because of your tail then they're calling Shadowclan weak. Remember, your clan will always defend you." Ravenfrost said, then whispered. "You aren't weak."

Twistedpaw nodded, then looked at his tail, letting it be normal, then trying to straighten it over and over, even if it did send jolts of pain up his tail. He hesitated, then let it be twisted, and walked beside Ravenfrost. He let out a gasp of surprise as they arrived at the gathering. The other clans were already there, and it appeared as if thousands of cats roamed the clearing.

Ravenfrost glanced back at his apprentice again. "You'll be alright. It'll make you less nervous to talk to the other apprentices."
