(Yep :D)
You couldn't be sure of your memory these days since you were blacking out and forgetting things all the time, but you still decide to trust it. Your car grunts and sputters to life, dusty lights blinking on as you pull into the streets. You find the street, but the number of the house doesn't seem to be there. The street, however, is quite long so you could check the very ends of it.
I decide to go to the very end hopefully I'd be able to find some clue as to which house was the one I needed to go too.

You are a detective. Your job used to be simple and you got things done, but you seemed to have fallen on hard times, and you dont seem to have as many clients as you had before.
Things got worse, too. At random times you would black out, and when you came back, things had changed; you weren't where you were before, people weren't looking at you the same anymore. And with all that, you couldn't even remember things, and you don't know what your body was doing during the times when you blacked out. What was happening?
Either way, you were now sitting in your dark office, brooding over the papers sprawled over your desk, wondering if you should get new lights and staring at a mysterious letter that had come to your office yesterday wrapped in a nice envelope made of brown paper. With your detective skills, you determined the letter to probably be from someone with a rather high status in society, but that wasnt the thing that intrigued you the most. What intrigued you was what the letter was requesting you to do.
The author of the letters child had disappeared, and you were to investigate.
Written in nice, little, neat letters across the bottom of the letter was the address of the mansion where she was last seen. You would need to go there to start your investigation.
Beware, though, dear player. This is more than just a mystery. Nothing is as it seems.
I head to the mansion. I wasn't to worried about the note, there's a scientific explanation for everything. I just have to find it.

(Yes, you're getting the hang of it, I believe. The difference between RPGs and RPs is that in RPGs the narrator controls the enviroment, so you can feel free to head towards a nearby cafe, but if it's there or not I decide that.)
The outside is chilly, and a slight gust of wind carried a few swirling leaves before you, whisking them away into the sky. You find the cafe with little problems, and as you enter, the woman at the front smiles at you as if you were someone that came here frequently.
The address, you remember faintly that the road in the address was somewhere far. Walking wouldn't get you there soon.

As you head down the road the sky gets darker; it was dusk, and the sun was setting rapidly. Your car continues to putt-putt down the road, entering a dark forest that seemed a tad bit too foreboding for its own good.

Slow down a bit, please xD
The address was slightly unfamiliar to you, but you vaguely remember that the road in the address was pretty far away. Walking would not do the trick.

I stop and look around for any indications that there is at least a house down the road.

I attempt to hail a cab to take me there

Clint approaches the woman standing a bit away as he tries to decide what he wanted to drink. Hot chocolate sounded wonderful though he wasn't sure if they had that here.
