Kate nodded im guessing your note didn't mention what you are but your obviously a vampire , your fangs are really long and your skin smokes and burns in the light she lowered her arm waiting for her words to sink in.

mariposa sighed , she looked like a tired little girl who needed a nap ASAP. the other kids in this school are like you , just read the letter your parents sent with you. most of your family is hiding the same thing the tail and wings will eventually be controllable you will get to use your legs again

It made some sense yes but why would this be this sudden? And anyone who had seen any of the vampire movies would know that it wasn't safe to give a freshling vampire your arm to drink from. They had no control yet. Even if it was true he refused to drink from her.
