Kota~

Kota had entered the underground city, and frowned. She loved being outside and breathing fresh air, the air here was old and musty. She walked towards her home, where her brother was most likely in his room, studying his rocks or something. She held her necklace in her right hand, moving her thumb across the detailed surface. Before she went home, she stopped by the market to sell some items, they kinda needed the money, she had amazing bargaining skills, and walked off with the upper hand of the deal. She smiled to herself. Life wasn't horrible here, but it still wasn't what she was looking for.

She backed up."I-i don't want to hurt you..Do you need help?" she asked yet again.She rolled another berry towrds it.She still held her brush just in case.she didn't want to have to use her sharp weapons the thing looks so innocent

Rune walked through the market of the city. Keeping in mind everything his grandmother asked of him. He subconsciously rubbed his bruised side as he searched for a place to get each item he needed. His grandmother wanted him to mainly get things for her cooking, but also things like oil and candles for the home. He'd also pick up a few other things for his grandmother's entertainment. He knew that him being gone for long periods of time didn't help and finding some things that would keep her busy wouldn't be a bad idea. He ran a hand through his hair as he looked at another shop that seemed to be out of the exact things he was looking for. And of course they wouldn't restock for a couple days. "Damn it" he mumbled to himself. He turned to walk away from the shop only to run into another person, a hiss of pain escaping him as his side was the first thing to make contact.

Kota~

Kota slightly yelped as someone bumped into her. She looked up at the person, a male, and blinked twice before apologizing.
" I'm terribly sorry. " She normally got snappy with people, she hated physical contact of any kind, but she didn't want to appear rude. She picked up a few items she had dropped, mostly food, and some sweets for her brother. " Are you okay? " She asked hearing the hiss of pain.

Rune bit the inside of his cheek, willing himself to ignore the pain. He stood up straight and opened his eyes to look at the person he'd run into. The scowl that he had made initially towards himself faded. "I'm fine." He replied quietly. "And it wasn't your fault I wasn't paying attention." He said honestly, feeling his cheeks heat up a bit when he admitted it. He usually didn't do that, being pretty aware of his surroundings. He stood there unsure of what to do before studying the girl. "Are you okay...?"

As something touched his hand again he struck, slashing at the air before him. He didn't want to fight, though it was in his blood, when threatened he would attack in order to survive himself. Hissing he backed away, ears twitching nervously. Where was his master? He didn't want to go home alone! Not without his master! What if the man needed help, who would be there to help him if he wasn't?

As he hit the berry she covered her face with her arm,watching the berry juice.."guess you don't like berries..." she said outloud.."I don't know who or what you are but I want to help" she went down on a knee trying to get level with it.."Your scared and alone..it'll be okay, we'll find whatever your looking for",if your looking for anything

He could understand what she was saying. It clearly wasn't his name, or home, or even food. What could she be saying?! He was running out of options... again he raised his clawed hand lashing out towards the voice and growling. Why wouldn't they just go on?

After a moment of silence he looked back to the man that had brought him into his home. Was is alright to start a conversation? "T-thank you, sir." He stammered, looking down at the cup he had clasped in his hands. What else could he say? He had said thank you, what came next? The introductions? "M-my name is Eddie, Eddie Gluskin." He said still not looking up from the cup he had in his hand. "What's your name?" This was awkward, and each word he said made him more nervous than he had already been. His hands had begun to shake again, even though he tried to steady them.

She blocked it with her brush..."wow you have claws...." she looked at him again."I want to help, but I don't know how"what to do, what to do.she asked herself.She looked at her brush...man im gonna have to resing this back
