No, I have understood that. It's me who used a bad formulation!
I meant to say that it's because they persecuted EVERYONE who was using magic, EVEN the people who did not use their magical powers for bad things. He knows that some magic users did terrible things. He does not approve their deeds and agrees that these people had to be punished. But by banishing magic and persecuting all the magic users without making any distinction between the ones who were using their magic to arm others and the ones who did not, the technological side commits crimes against them and even a genocide (when they're killed) as well.
At least that's how he sees it^^
The magical users he knows or knew were among the good (or at least the harmless) ones. He comes from an opposite background as Astraeus.

Please choose one morph animal, not two. There's a reason for that, by the way. It's to make sure animal skills are evenly spread out, meaning that you can't be a super stealthy animal on one hand and you can fly on the other hand. So, please pick a single animal.
