Currently reading The Three by Sarah Lotz. It's a bit difficult to describe so I'm just going to copy the summary:
Four simultaneous plane crashes. Three child survivors. A religious fanatic who insists the three are harbingers of the apocalypse. What if he's right?
The world is stunned when four commuter planes crash within hours of each other on different continents. Facing global panic, officials are under pressure to find the causes. With terrorist attacks and environmental factors ruled out, there doesn't appear to be a correlation between the crashes, except that in three of the four air disasters a child survivor is found in the wreckage.
Dubbed 'The Three' by the international press, the children all exhibit disturbing behavioural problems, presumably caused by the horror they lived through and the unrelenting press attention. This attention becomes more than just intrusive when a rapture cult led by a charismatic evangelical minister insists that the survivors are three of the four harbingers of the apocalypse. The Three are forced to go into hiding, but as the children's behaviour becomes increasingly disturbing, even their guardians begin to question their miraculous survival...
It's a supernatural mystery tale, written a lot like World War Z in that it isn't a direct narrative but more a collection of dialogues from the characters involved in the story.

Wow, I'm reading a few books right now
Cabal by Clive Barker
The Poet by Michael Connelly
Castle Waiting(Vol. 1 and Vol.2) by Linda Medley
Coraline by Neil Gaiman
I've read all of the above several times now, and I adore the books SO much! They are all very well written an enjoyable.
I'll be reading all the Drizzt Do'urden books once I have the whole collection, as I don't want to have to stagger or read any of the books out of order.
I'm one of those people that once they start a book...I have to finish it, even if I hate it or not. It just bothers me if I don't finish it lol. I usually read at least 3 books a week...but I am going on like a month and a half now of trying to get through Dragonfly in Amber.
It is the second book in the Outlander series...and I really loved the first book...but this book is so freaking BORING. I seriously have like 150 pages left and I still just cannot push myself to finish it.
It blows my mind that it has like 4 1/2 stars on Amazon reviews and other sites. Kinda like the book Night Circus...hyped up talked about book with great reviews...and I read it and am just like WTH is this, I don't even..../facepalm
But once I get through this abomination I have the book Warm Bodies waiting for me lol.
same I always do that I don't want to quit even if it is boring

Currently reading:
Saga by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples
Rat Queens by Kurtis J. Wiebe and Roc Upchurch
Shutter by Joe Keatinge and Leila Del Duca
Death Vigil by Stjepan Seijic
Mrs. Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children: The Graphic Novel by Ransom Riggs and Cassandra Jean
As I complied this list I realized that everything I'm currently reading are graphic novels or comics...Heh, well I guess that's to be expected from a wannabe comic artist.
Also, here's some books that I've read in the past and recommend:
Rumo by Walter Moers
The 13 1/2 Lives of Captain Bluebear by Walter Moers
East by Edith Pattou
The Bartimaeus Trilogy by Johnathan Stroud
Life of Pi by Yann Martel
A Northern Light by Jennifer Donnelly
