I am whole-heartedly enjoying myself this festival! I love that you guys keeping coming up with new fun ways to introduce a second round of fest pets (Mojo, bakery, garden, seeking, etc). That is why sylestia is my favorite online game - hands down.

I think the spawn rate in the fest zone for themed is okay - not great but not bad. I know it's frustrating for those who are newer and weren't here last year for the festival and thus don't already have any of the current theme. So I can understand their frustration on not being able to find much this year (especially those themed lighs - where are you hiding?)

Gotta agree that the species items for the seeker pets seem pretty hard to find. Course, I have only been in the fest zone for one day, but I still haven't dug up any - Thus far I have only found clay, water, and an avatar item. Course that could be just my bad luck though and nothing to do with the spawn rate lol.

I'd love to see Jinxie make a return. I really miss looking for the hidden floating item/icon on a page as I am moving around the site. So I guess that would be my only request. Haul Jinxie out from where she is stashed, dust her off, and give her some goodies to pass out <3

Thanks again for another amazing fest, Krin and Fai!

I like the forum games but the fest itself is dull because you can only go from one boss to another and there is nothing in between *sigh* and the new Seeking game to make themed pets stinks because you are made to spend loads of gold in hopes of getting the right shovel or fishing pole just to get the items to make a themed pet and that's a big if on the stuff to make a themed pet. The flower themed pets are far more fun and easy to make then the seeking themed pets. and where is the plain maze that you had in the Easter fest at :( that was real fun.

I have no complaints. I love fests. :)
To support previous comments, I really would love it if the boss events were brought back. It was very enjoyable in the Winter Fest with everyone working together to find the reindeer and kill the bandits and really promoted unity and friendship between everyone, and I was sad that it wasn't included in the last two Seasonal Fests.
Other than that, I'm loving the fest!
Also, I love that you and Fai are asking for feedback on what you do. That just makes Sylestia all the more amazing to me, and I'm glad that I decided to choose this game for RPG. You guys are honestly the best.
(not sure if I'm supposed to ping you or not, so if I was supposed to, I'm sorry)

So far I'm riding a thin line between enjoying this fest and being completely over it. So to keep things short and sweet, I'll just do a lil ol pros and cons.

Pros: It's a festival, yay! New themed pets, festival shop, and cosmetic drops from bosses!

Cons: Leaderboards - Can you say stressful?! Plus I dislike competing against others. Not fun to make others lose out. D:
Sylesti Seeking - Terrible drop rates. For there to be so many goodies hidden within, it's frustrating to go through board after board and get some gold. And then to have a better tool yield less than a wooden tool makes no sense. Lastly, I feel like majestic equipment should be guaranteed to give a better reward than clay, water, and gold.

I haven't really gotten the chance to partake much in this festival yet unfortunately but I would maybe like to say something on the themes and their designs

I know you guys were going for accuracy this festival with the themes and their sea creature designs and it's super cool but it's kinda like a battle between accurate and attractive
Now I'm not sure if I'm the minority or majority on this one but I know for sure I'm not alone when I say I would prefer attractively colored themes rather than one that looks like a random sea creature I've probably never heard of(which, let's all be real here, most dont look too attractive to begin with haha)
Because people dont just want a pet with a tag that says "blue crab" and then is less color coordinated than my boyfriend if he were drunk and trying to dress the cat

The pets from last festivals were STUNNING
but the ones from this fest have kinda been a little mediocre compared to the beautiful pets from past fests(no insults meant to anyone at all, if you took offense I greatly apologize)
I just think the creation for themes and the overall theme designs have been a little too strict and focused on accuracy rather than what looks attractive and what people would fight tooth and nail for!
Still stick to a little accuracy but at the same time, allow for some creativity.

First, neither I nor anyone else wants you folks to feel unappreciated! Please understand that we all know, at least to some extent, how much work you put into this.

Since you did ask for feedback, I will say this. I'm finding this a frustrating Festival. The word "grinding" keeps coming to mind. Grinding is no fun. I understand that a market flooded with Themed is not a good idea, but players simply giving up on finding any Themed is not good either. Also, the dreadful phrase "free to play, pay to win" keeps going through my mind. I buy Diamonds, but I only buy small amounts, and I remember when I couldn't afford any at all. I was still able to have fun at Festivals then. Even those of us who don't buy Diamonds, or don't buy many, are helping the site, by creating content for the players who do buy lots of Diamonds.

If only we could trade Fish Sylesti items! It's hard enough that they are so very very rare. Right now, I could make a fish Sylesti, but the only actual fish I have is for a species I don't collect. And I can't count on being able to sell it because it's not a popular species. If only I could trade that fish for a fish I want! Or buy a fish I want.

Honestly, the lack of a new Map and new Themed does not bother me even a tiny fraction as much as the above. Oh, one last thing. For games like Fish Wars, could people who have already gotten to play in previous Festivals be disqualified for a few Festivals? I and some others have managed to sign up for the "Wars" only to see the luck of the draw award player slots to people who have gotten to play previously. (I made myself a promise that if I ever get to play, I'll sit the next three "Wars" out, but I don't get to keep my promise if I never get to play.)

This sounds like whining, even to me, and I wrote it. Please delete the whining tone when you read this. I'm tired, and I only get to participate in Festival through this Friday due to family issues. but I don't want to come across that way.

I would like to thank you for doing the fest for us! I can't imagine trying to make something like this 4 times a year! New games and everything! I have enjoyed playing it thus far.

I don't mind the leaderboards, I do like that you split it into two separate weeks.
But I do have some suggestions, or things that maybe bothering me.

*As others have mentioned, the going boss to boss and having nothing else to do is getting a bit boring already. I would like to see something added to the fest zone; possible ideas, a dynamic event, a maze area with a sea theme (where the egg hunt was), a mega boss, more chests or areas to search for items?

*Change up the ratio or rarity of seekers hits. I am finding I am going thru more money (real and "gold") than I did last fest and getting little or nothing for my buck. I am not seeing many of any pets, fabled or regular.

*A "Jinx" or something floating around the site with a few special items.... maybe a cute themed Ligh or something special that can only be gotten from the Little Jinx?

*Maybe another competition, one that doesn't last for the week. Something that happens daily or every couple days?

*I love the door game, can't wait for the first one tomorrow! Maybe a few more of those, instead of just one or two. Gives people a reason to come check back in. Also, I hope you have an auction soon! It maybe the only way for me to get a Griff this fest.... :)

This festival, like the two or three prior to it, is a downer for me. I can't put in the time to grind for themed pets, or tokens for that matter, so I can't even participate in anything else that's going on. There was an easter egg hunt last year that was free once an hour or day or something, where we had a shot at finding pets/items/tickets (for the wheel that no longer exists, apparently). Why not have that now? Why did you guys do away with the only thing that people like me could participate in.

I'm glad that a lot of people are having fun, but I really have zero reason to be on here during festivals anymore and that makes me sad. I used to really love this site during the events, but now they just feel like a chore. I have to grind for pets, pay real money for items to play the rest of the areas, and the token drop rate versus the prices for things in the shop is obnoxious.

Sorry I couldn't be more positive, but I feel something needs to be said about this stuff.

I have one complaint so far. I'm not sure if anyone already said it yet but I feel that the special spots in the seeking should give better rewards other than water and clay (I did find other things but only a few) when it comes to using the majestic items, or at least have an increased chance. Sure they're the required items to make a pet but at the same time it kind of feels like a ripoff, especially since you can only get the majestic things through diamonds (or a lot of gold through the broker).
