He gives a little chirp and jumps onto your shoulders as you wade in. He sits like a small bird, only gripping on with his hindlegs as he surveys the area. The water is getting deeper but because of the heat your clothes will dry off in no time if they get wet, or you could simply swim without clothes as no one will find you. The water is almost too your knees and just about to reach the edge of your rolled up pants.
I decided it would be best if I took off my clothes completely, as the water was relaxing

When she sees you step towards her her tail starts wagging. She seems lonely and scared.
"Awww..." I stroke her back lightly, and smile at her gentleness. "What are you doing here, little one?"

The cool water slopped against you as you wade in, soon the water is up to your chest and getting cooler the farther you go. You reach the spring and discover you were right, it is in fact feeding into the lake

The wind whispers quietly in your ears as you walk towards the forest. The grass is cool and soft. Sunlight filters between the ever growing closer trees as the canopy enfolds you. A soft spring trickles through a creek and a few small creatures are drinking but run off at the sight of you.
