Ailla joined Damion in chasing after the rebellious Pokmon resulting in havoc. Zoroa and skitty looked at each other and nodded in some silent agreement. Zoroa turned into skitty the two going round and round in circles then splitting up. Running in different directions. Damion split off chasing the one that went to the right. That skitty ran into a crowd of people. Damion followed blindly knocking people over and eventually Barrie's beneath them. "Get back here!" He called.

(Yah, thought it would be kinda fun.)

Ailla rushed after the skitty that banked to the left. She chased after the small pink Pokmon who seemed to be having the time of its life. The skitty leapt on top of gradient taughnting Ailla. Ailla not realizing skitty was on top of someone. She leapt for the skitty which leapt away just as she crashed into gradient.

Gradient shook of the Skitty, cursing in another language. When Ailla landed on him... not nice. He caught the girl, managing to not crumble to the floor. He was forced back a few steps.

Gradient sent a withering glare to both the Skitty and Happiny as they both shrunk away. Gradient had been told he could be very scary at times. "Pikachu..." Gradient started, pushing Ailla off his chest."TE Happiny, please." Pikachu reluctantly sent a Thunder Wave at Happiny, paralyzing the Pokemon. Gradient recaled Happiny, glaring at the Pokemon. No Gradient, perfection. "Great job, Pikachu. I know that might have been hard, but Happiny was causing some trouble." Gradient praised, making Pikachu beam.

"You okay?" He asked Ailla. "Was that Skitty yours?" He questioned, letting Eevee perch on his shoulders.

"Oh, hey, Gradient, I didn't realize you were on this boat" Sylver said, walking over. "Aww, hey little eevee" Sylver cooed, petting the Eevee's head. "So, you're going to Akala too?" Said Rhys.

"Yah, I'm fine thanks for catching me and, don't really know. It might be skittles but it also might damions zoroa." Ailla said she turned to you terror in her eyes. "They've teamed up. The end is upon us." She said trying to be serious but couldn't hide the edges of a smile.

Gradient watched as his Pokegear fell over the side of the boat, thank's to the Skitty's stunt. No! His mind screamed. Gradient's hope withered away as the device got closer and closer to the blue water.

"Jay." He murmured. His heart broke slowly, shattering into a million pieces. Jay's songs- Jay's thoughts were all on there. Jay hadn't bothered to let the world see his beautiful songs- The only place they were stored was on Gradient's Pokegear.

Eevee dove for it, seeing Gradient's tears start to well up with rare tears. Pikachu was next, hopping onto shore and biting on Gradient's headphones. The Pokegear landed on Eevee's head, blinking to a void black. Pikachu pulled the headphones back to shore, leading Eevee with it.

Gradient rushed to meet his Pokegear, stuffing it in his bag with unusual haste and recalling all of his Pokemon. "I need rice." He muttered, hopping back onto the boat. Gradient recalled Jay's words: Gradient's tears: Able to cure any and all diseases. Found: Nowhere.

Gradient would later thank Eevee and Pikachu with all his heart.

I just really wish that you were here,
Cause just in my dreams it's not enough...

Tears. They had seen Gradient's tears. Now remember son, don't let anyone see your tears. That is the first, and most important thing we taught you. Gradient's father's voice hummed into Gradient's head. Gradient spun into the boat, leaving only fury in his wake.

(Gradient's #1 weakness: Tears. And Jay. I'm considering submitting a form for Jay in the sign-up thread and making him an actual character :3 Should I?)

"Hey, are you ok?" Ailla asked concerned. "I'm really sorry if our Pokmon caused a real problem. Is there somthing I can do to help?" Ailla asked seeing gradient cry kinda scared her. He had always seemed so stable. 'he was the child my family deserved' she thought to herself. "I really am sorry."

(I think that would really cool)

"Woah, that was close" Said Sylver. "You wanna grab some food? Food is good when you're upset, they have a buffet over there" Sylver pointed out. She got upset and cried a lot, so she would always make sure never to make a big deal over anyone else crying. "Yeah, lets go, I'm starving anways" Rhys said.

(I did it! Yay! Say hi to Gradient's number 1 weakness!)

Jay's Pokegear flickered on. A call? From who? Nobody ever called Jay. Absent-mindedly, he accepted the call, expecting to see some spam artist or overenthusiastic seller guy.

Instead, a girl with blond hair and brown eyes came onto the screen. Ashley! Except she didn't look so well... Messy and unorganized, in a dark place and all. "Ashley?" Jay asked, half not expecting the girl to be Ashley.

"Jay!" The girl's soft, delicate voice was hushed, and Jay sensed... Was that desperation? And fear? "Help- please. I'm in a Team Skull base. They kidnapped me. Please, Jay, ple-" Before Jay got a chance to swallow it all, his Pokegear faded to black. Jay didn't know what happened on Ashley's end, but it must've been bad.

He wasn't going to let the girl that had given him that smile disappear. Ashley had given Jay this guitar; Jay could never pay her back. Ever.

Jay dialed a number on his Pokegear, and waited as the Pokegear rung for what seemed like forever.

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-

Gradient picked up the call, his tears gone. Jay? "Jay?" Gradient voiced his thoughts, longing to hear his old friend.

But Gradient didn't see that relaxed smile and those sparkling black eyes. No, he saw someone else entirely. "Jay?" Gradient said again.

"Gradient... I need your help. Please. Where and when can we meet?" Jay said, his voice breaking. Gradient blinked at him.

"What?"

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-

It was set. Seven at night, at the port. They would meet- They being Gradient and Jay.

(why do I keep on making characters that I wanna submit a form for? *doesn't know what to do with Ashley*)

1. I've got a fix but it involves death and character archs. I'm already using it on Ailla add Ashley in and we can all go thru a little bonding arch or somthing. Who know might be fun. also don't know if this was intentional or not but you forgot to say gradient did anything to hide the call. Which means Ailla knows everything)

"Umm...should I even ask why your meeting someone who looks half crazed in the middle of the night? Or just class it off as a gradient thing?" Ailla asked freaked out. Incredibly curios, but freaked out none the less.
