Rabbitaka asked, "will you* be considering bumping the thread with the prize griffi egg in the next 2 days or have you* already bumped the thread once in the past 2 days?"

That is an interesting question!

And the answer is, No.

Zekotan, it's your turn now.

And Aze, your turn is after Zekotan's.

I'm so ready. Oh my goodness. I can't wait for my turn. Legitimately. Because I actually know where it is. I actually found it. Eeek. Been waiting a while now. I've been hoping so hard that nobody else would get it.

Zekotan PMed me to ask "Is the prize griffi Egg on the first page of AliceHearts BCC Griff thread in the pet auctions?
(I would have had the link to it but my cat deleted EVERYTHING related to the griffi search T.T)"

(And I suppose the dog ate your homework, LOL!)

The answer is: Yes!

OK, Aze, it's your turn. Put your money, that is, your guess, where your mouth is--if you can. Where is the Prize Griffi image?

Maiaasher, if Aze blows it, it's your turn next. No pressure, Aze!

It's in post 1 of Aliceheart's BC Griffi thread in the auctions forum with the word 'epic' underneath. I know this is true because earlier on you said it's in the first three pages of the target thread, you just said it's on page one, and I checked all three pages. :)

OK, I did not forsee this situation. We essentially have TWO people who have found the last Prize--the Star Crossed Griff.

Here's what happened.

Zekotan asked, "Is the prize griffi Egg on the first page of AliceHearts BC Griff thread in the pet auctions?"

Well...yeah, it was. However, on the one hand, that's just a page. There are several images of Griffis on that page (which is why AliceHearts hid it there, of course!). Consider Rule 5--

5. To finally win a Prize Egg, you must ask a question that gives (1) which egg you've found, (2) what page you found it on, and (3) where on the page it is.

Example: "Is the third egg in the row of eggs on Krinadon's About Me, at the very bottom right corner, the Piranha Kelpari egg?"
If the answer is yes, the egg is yours!
Example: "Is the Bulbori egg in Faiona's Hatchery?"
Well, I would answer that question, but unless Faiona has only one egg in her Hatchery, a yes answer here doesn't win the egg, because this guesser didn't say which egg in Faiona's Hatchery. (And the very next player is probably going to ask a question that does specify which egg, and win that egg, because the previous guesser gave the location away but wasn't specific enough.)

On the other hand, the other Griffi images on that page are plainly not Prize images. They are larger, they are part of the main text, they are adults (not eggs or Hatchlings), and they are not Star Crossed. They are quite plainly Blueberry Crumble Griffis, which the Prize Griffi is not.

Therefore, I answered the question, PMed Zekotan to just trust me, and went on to Aze, who posted this--

Wow, that narrows it down perfectly, especially the specification that the Prize Griffi is above the word "epic." Here's a link to the page; the elusive little Griffi is in the first post--

https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=21022

So the Prize Griffi is found! However--consider this basic game rule from Paragraph 2 of the first post in this game thread: "It must be a yes/no question."

Aze didn't ask a question; Aze made a statement.

The Prize Griffi is found, but Zekotan didn't specify the exact location as required in the rules, and Aze didn't give the Griffi's location in the form of a yes-or-no question, as required in the rules.

My Solomonic solution to the problem is in the next post, along with the rules for handing out the consolation prizes.

Aw butternuts. I knew I'd fudge it up. xD

Can't wait to see your solution, but if it comes down to it; honestly, Zekotan did manage to 'find' it, even if the question wasn't quite right, before me.

Edit: I need to stop editing so much.
