What do you do?

Heading north, you have a large expanse of Lamada to cover before you will come across part of Hadra and then into Dumerki. Once in the cover of the trees, you hear many different sounds of animals in the forest and it isn't long until you come across a different, larger sound. It sounds like someone or something is crashing through the undergrowth! You could try to run, stay and see what it is, or climb a nearby tree.

What do you do?

'If it were something big, I wouldn't want to be in a tree' I said to myself. Mabey I could hide near the tree?

Surprisingly, the serpent replies in its Spertentine hiss, "That wassss a Darmur. I noticcced it watching the boy and deccccided to help. It would have eaten both of you." He slithers closer and continues, "My name is Hasssshhhty in human tongue." He bows his large head.
