I know it's German, but Google Translate spits out 'wall sadness'. Like, wut? Anyway, I'd say maroon, brown, maeve, or grey.

That word? Hmmm... medium teal. Teal enough that people want to like it, but just the wrong shade so it makes people uncomfortable.

Themes I put in everything?

-A really antagonistic character that acts so much like a villain that it's obvious they're not the villain
-People doing things purely because they think it's cool regardless of how practical or efficient it is
-Surprise relatives (think Luke and Leia but without kissing)
-But wait there's a biGGER THREAT (again!)
-using technology solely for playing video games
-making up periodic elements to explain things that literally could not happen
-that one character that could solve all problems but doesn't because they're lazy or just like watching everyone else not know what they're doing
-living anywhere but somewhere that resembles where I live
-no clear blue skies because they're disgustingly oversaturated and harder to look at than cloudy or grey skies
-unexplained rivals
-society hates the protagonists

And yes, fire has strong ties to magic, especially sorcery and evocation :D

Tropes I like? Hmmm....

-Over-exaggerated personalities. Dunno why, they just please me on some deep metaphysical level.
-Time travel, space travel, exploring the nature of the universe and making up the rules to the nature of the universe
-Random moments just in there for funnies, even better if it ties back into the plot in some way
-Farce
-Farce
-Reality, but blown out of proportion
-The future as someone imagines it
-Normal people interacting with supernatural things
-Farce

almost all my storys, fanfiction or not, have death and loss as a magorelement. they might not even be that dark of a story and it will still be there. probably because I'm morbid. *gestures to room walls covered in skulls*
pink/blue as a character's color is also something I can't avoid. I blame a bad Portal OC for that. that I still use.
also robots, there's normally at least one in everything I write. I really like robots. and also blame Portal for that.

for actual concepts and theams, I like using 'bible-accurate angels'. basically, angels but with lots of eyes and wings and very little human-Esq traits. I tend to give them the bare minimum of a body and legs.
Also, big worlds with lots of characters with very distinct personality and backstory.

Mauerbauertraurigkeit is one of those words that can't really be accurately translated into english. x) Roughly, it means 'the inexplicable desire to push away those close to you, even those who you really like.' It's interesting that Google would translate it to 'wall sadness.' xD

I don't really know if there are themes or things I sneak in my writing. Maybe there are some I do unconsciously lol. I've got a thing for belts too xD

Concepts/themes? Well, I like the whole light v darkness thing. or light v grey v darkness. I guess. heh. Yes, time travel is... bad, when done commonly. You can do it right. Time, on the other hand? Golden. Grey morality except the character is a butthole? Yes. Grey morality but the character is a clueless himbo? Also yes. (grey morality in the worldly sense, like not good guy not bad guy.)

I feel you on that last 'can't write anything when I want to' lol. Yesterday I wrote a whole 991 words for the spooky story contest on forums but wrote 10 on my novelization xP
