I ignore the other apprentices and head to the back of the den, looking for a spot to claim my nest.

I pull together a nest and fall asleep in it almost immediately.

Feeling confused, I turned to my littermates. "Hey Frostpaw, Cloudpaw," I say. "Are you going on the midnight patrol?"
