i think it's a good idea, maby post it on the first post as well, (and i would honastly go with half a year inactif to be removed from ping list) and alsow that if people chance there name that it is there job to make sure you know about it! (althow you can make it a bit easy for yourself by making a list with name and ID behind it, becaus no mater how much people chance there name there ID stays the same^^ )

I feel like one year away is a very reasonable place to start. I suggest that any members of VV! that haven't logged in in over 365 days be left on the membership list, but removed from our ping list to make pinging easier. Does anyone else have a comment, suggestion, or improvement to add? Is anyone against this idea? If there seems to be a general consensus, we'll likely go with that I'm sure. ^.^ Thanks for your time!

I agree whole-heartedly with both of the above posts. 6-12 months both seem fine to me - I think the most people would reasonably be away and still be actively wanting pings is probably 6 weeks, since ~4 weeks is the cycle for generation-ing and I believe that's the longest wait for the game, and 6 weeks sounds too little to me.
I would suggest that purging the list should happen at the end of each major festival, at the most frequent (as in, you could do it less often, but not more often. Also excepting the first purge). It makes perfect sense to me that people might be inactive between major festivals.


Edit: You could also include (or replace) the current list of members being sorted by ascending ID number instead of alphabetically. Or have both.

I think that the list should be a bit smaller indeed. As for anything that can be added how about a Masterlist of Themed and who designed them? Unless there is something like that already?

the new tamed vorp shares a name with skor's luff, may not have the same palette.

I support it, I don't think it's a bad idea. If they've been inactive for over a year it could also be an abandoned account.

I'm fine with it for the ping list, yes :)
