Itri had just started to write more questions when Lacey and Ashes slipped into the room. He jumped up and ran over to Lacey, hugging her, as soon as she stepped into the room. She stiffened, but then hugged him back before pushing him away. "Umm..." she started talking, but couldn't think of what to say to convince Itri to come with them, so just looked at the tiger and winged girl that wasn't Ashes suspiciously.

Tiger sat close to Angela. Angela rested on Tiger making both of them smile

"After you then." Ase said ready to follow. Unlike him she wanted to be free of this to be able to live as she wanted to with the love of her life. She planned on escaping.

"Knowing Lacey, she probably headed straight to my office to get Itri and try to convince him to leave. She's cynical, but she's still a young child and will go along with what Ashes is doing" He started walking in the direction of his apartment/ office "I have a question" He said as they walked. "WHy did you do this to yourself? Surely you knew what the consequences would be"

"What do you mean?" Ase asked looking at him with a confused look. "You mean why did I take this job? I needed the money really and couldn't find a job any where else save for here. So I took the job and this is where it got me. I guess I deserve it though."

Aydan shook his head. "No, I mean why did you make yourself a cat? If it weren't for that, you could come and go from this place as you please"

"Hey guys....um..so we have a plan to escape.."She explained how she wanted to leave and couldnt stay here anymore."Im Ashes by the way...but if you like you can call me Ash..."She said awkwardly.

"Oh this? It was a mistake really. An unknown side effect, they say it may ware off in a few years, though at this point I'm fine with it." Ase said looking down at her hands.

Aydan nodded. "It does suit you. Honestly this city should just let people like us wander around and go grocery shopping and stuff. There are enough scientist/ experiments that it's not like it would just be the two of us. Anyway I digress. If it might wear off, why not just wait a year or two to see if it will before leaving? It's not like this place is that bad. It's just the place in the back where the rules are a bit more loosely enforced".

"I wish it was that simple...I just feel that I'm wasting away here. I want to get my life going. I want a family." Ase said with a sigh. "I found someone to spend my life with, and I want to get a house, start a life of my own."
