"I'll stay with you, but Itri has to come to" Lacey said. She wanted to trust Ashes fully, but complete trust in someone isn't something you throw around to just anyone, and once you find someone that you're willing to give it to, you typically aren't willing to leave their side. Itri was the only person that had Laceys complete at the time, and she wasn't going to do anything important without him.

Aydan smiled sadly. "Normality is relative. This life is normal to me. I was created here, and I've never left. Life out there wouldn't be normal. Humans will never get used to me, no matter how nice they are. I'd get stares wherever I went, as would Itri. Not to mention the fact that the lab is government funded, so it would be well within their abilities to hunt us down. I'd go back to being an experiment, and Itri would become one. The small strand of trust that the lab has given me is all that keeps him free and lets me protect him"

She sighed."Okay,lets find him." She said,wondering where to look.

"But don't you want to love out there?" Ase asked though she knew it wasn't worth asking him this. "Never mind. If you won't leave then why don't we make living here better?"

"That's actually what I've been working on..." Aydan said, trailing off as he spotted a security camera in the corner. "I'll tell you about it later. Let's try to find the girls for now"

"We left him in Aydan's office with those two other people" Lacey reminded her. "We should help them escape, to I guess. They'd probably get angry if we left them" She scratched at a scar on her arm and turned her head. "Let's do it before any scientists find us. I don't want to get in trouble"

Itri had moved to his reading nook next to the bookshelf and has watching the winged girl and tiger boy. "Do you like to read?" He wrote messily, handing it to Tiger. He wanted to learn more about the two kids.

"Not really...." Tiger said frowning. Angel nodded happily

Itri was a bit shocked by Tiger's response, but didn't comment on it. "What's your favorite genre? I like fantasy the best, but my dad likes sci-fi and is always giving books that he likes." He wrote, handing the paper to Angela this time.

"Fantasy, action and sometimes historical." Angela said smiling.

Itri nodded. He then tried to think of other subjects to ask them about "What were you running from when you bumped into me?" He wrote, but then he realized that it might be a sensitive subject, and crossed it out. "What were you running from when you bumped into me? How old are you two? I'm seven. And what are you favorite colors? I like sea foam green, but when dark green is paired with brown it can be nice. " He handed the paper to Tiger and Angela.

"Favorite color is purple and I believe I am 12." Angela said then she looked at Tiger.

"I don't know about the favorite color but I am sure that I am 13." Tiger said smiling.

"K.Lets go."She said and started running down the hall,her shoes tapping on the metal floor.She heard someone talking and stopped.Ayden...she thought,slinking along the cold metal wall,towards the door to the others.She swiftly opened the door and darted inside.
