Hey, it's been a long time since you've replied. My last reply to you was on page 33 if you want to keep playing, and if not please let me know so I can remove you from the list :)
Sure enough, the ducks lead you to a pleasant little pond.
(Don't mind me, I'm just switching to third-person.)
Arissa looks around the pond with a smile on her face, she takes off her footwear and dips her feet into the cool water. She watches the ducks as they float away, adoring the fluffy little ducklings.
Hey, uh... I think I lost your ping, and didn't notice until now? Would you like to keep playing?

(oh okay)
You start heading in the direction of the forest. You admire the grassy plains as you walk. About two hours into your trek, you come across a river that you must cross to reach the forest. It is shallow and calm enough to wade through, but deep enough for the contents of your backpack to get soaked.

You start with the closest room. It looks similar to the room you came from, except whereas the other room's bed was small, this one is large with tattered drapes collapsed on top of it. Surveying the room, you figure that the key could be hiding under the bed, in the dresser or by a bookshelf in the corner.

Desta looks at the river and pickes up her backpack carrying it across the river above her head. Stumbling halfway arcoss the river the she tosses her backpack to the other side miraculously landing dryly and fall into the river face first.
(I fixed my first post so it says what it is suppose to.)

The colt you saw earlier is a bit thinner than the others, but no other horses catch your eye.
