Her expression softend then quickly angered."Thinking about myself?! What does any of this have to do with ME?!You think i can blend in out there with these?" She shouted,wincing as she tore feathers from her ash-gray wings."You think i would just stay here,wandering around,even if i could leave?NO!!BUTTTT I have people I CARE about here,and cant just leave,because half of them are too stupid to listen!!"She gave Ayden a hard look."God...See if I ever help you again..."She said her eyes watering before bursting into tears.She turned away and ran down the hallways,half blinded by salty drops of water.

The distant call of her name alerted her. "Aydan?" She called back to them. What time was it? How long had she been sitting here?

"Ashes wait! I'm sorry!" Aydan shouted sincerely after the girl.He kicked the wall."Dang it! Why am I so bad at this?"
Lacey chased after Ashes. "Ash wait! I'll go with you!" She said, not willing to lose one of the few people she could consider a friend.
"Great now both of them are gone!" Aydan complained. He chased them on all fours, an animal like thing that he tended to avoid at all costs, but he really needed to catch up with the two girls as quickly as possible.

Aydan heard Ase's voice calling to him. He quickly backtracked to where the voice was coming from. "Ase!" He shouted. "I found another kid that wants my help getting out of here for some reason, but she ran off and Lacey followed I need your help!" He then realized the he was still standing on all fours from when he was chasing the two girls and his face flushed with embarrassment. He stood up and brushed himself off, coughing into his hand and looking away, hoping that Ase hadn't noticed or would choose to ignore it.

She gave him a sweet smile. "It happens to the best of us." She said looking down at her long furry fingers. They were far from paws but she still felt the need to walk on all fours like this. "Where did they get off two."

Aydans face flushed with embarrassment again, but he ingnored it. "They went down that way, but I don't know where they went after that." He said, pointing down the hallway where he had come from. "I really hope that no one sees them. I've really messed up a lot recently, and I don't even know how I got myself into this mess in the first place. I've also completely forgotten that there are security cameras all over the place, so we're not going to get away with this stuff" He sighed and rubbed his temple. "I'm going to help these kids, but it's not going to end up well for me and Itri, you know?"

"And I plan on helping you. We can all get out together." Ase said puffing her chest out some as she did. "Maggie, Marcurio, You, your son, and the kids. all of us are getting out of here."

"The thing is, I don't want to leave" Aydan admitted. "I love my job, even if certain aspects of this place are... questionable. It's not like it would be any better out there for Itri and me anyway. I'd rather work on improving this place than leaving it"

She turned,looking back at lacey."If your coming,then follow me...I cant gurentee that it'll be safe but...I dont really reccomend you come..but i'd be glad if you did..."She said,wiping tears from her eyes.

"But don't you want to live a normal life? Well as normal as we can live now that we look like this." Ase looked down at her body in wonder. What would humans think? No doubt she would get some fame for it but with time they would learn to live along side her.
