Keeping your path inside of Dumerki, you head out and away from town, seeing what you can find. Down the trail, you can find many little caves in the mountainside. You could stop and explore the caves, although you don't have any light source, or you could continue on.
What do you do?

He holds on to you, his legs seem frozen so dragging him is difficult but you get to the edge of the trees. The monster has moved closer to the serpent now and they both look ready for a fight! The serpent seems to be protecting the two of you. Lily, having been hiding in the trees all along, comes over to huddle with you.

A piece of this crystal the size of your thumb could be worth around 20 gold! So, looking around where you can see, you are able to find many crystals of varying size. Your bag is now heavy with the load, but there is gold to be made if you could only find a town or village! You could head towards the river to follow, maybe there would be a town there, or out into the grassy fields. You could also continue along your original path.

One of the older books has a title which catches your eyes, "Falling Through Time" but there is a newer one which seems to be about the mythical creatures of the land which also sounds interesting!

Rosemary picked up the falling through time book and began reading it, she'd always prefered history books to myths as a child. Something of reading about legendary creatures made her feel pitiful.
