The maned wolf flicks it's tail, and the smallest of the strange pack comes forth, though not an enemy to be trifled with. "How about a deal. You kill my omega, and we'll leave you alone. If My omega kills your challenger, you will take us to your camp. Any volunteers?"

Phantom
"Alpha I'll do it," Phantom said to Alex.

Sable and Remus:

"Alex you can pick anyone you'd like. We can handle one omega"
Sable grunts in agreement. "I'd love to sate my appetite."

Remus snarls in pure excitement and adrenaline gives him strength he hasn't had for days.
The maned pack backs into a semi circle, and The patrol follows suit. Remus and The Omega are in the center. They circle, snarling, eyes bright with excitement. Remus makes the first move, lunging at the Omega's face, then feigning to the side. The muscled but slower Omega ducks and Remus is able to land a blow to his back. Not deep, but a start. The Omega grabs Remus's back leg in his jaw and jerks him up. Remus falls on his side with a thud but uses the position to swipe at the Omega's belly. Both blows are successful. The Omega crushes down on Remus's leg, but he grits his teeth and goes for the one place that would grant him freedom: The throat. He twists and the Omega sees it coming. He jerks his chin in and thrusts his claws out, releasing his hold on Remus's leg and slashing his chest. Remus, still going with his momentum, bites down on the Omega's ear, paw slashing toward his side. His paw misses but he uses his hold on the ear to force the Omega down. His throat was exposed, but Remus couldn't access it with his hold on the ear. Remus maneuvers himself on the other side of the Omega as it struggles to free himself. They stay in this hold for about 10 seconds before the Omega twists up, trying to get out. Remus releases his ear and takes advantage of the split second the omega's head is up, grabbing his throat. The duel is over, and Remus is the victor.


"I didn't much care for him anyways." Says the alpha of the strange pack, looking down at the wounded Remus.

Nova
"I'll put the herbs on you Remus," Nova said to him. Nova is gathering the herbs to put on Remus's wounds.

Phantom
"Alex I don't trust him," Phantom whispered to Alex.

Sable rushes to Remus and starts cleaning his wounds. "You did good." He murmurs to him.
Remus lets Sable clean his leg. "I was too slow, he shouldn't have gotten that hold on my leg."
Sable looks at it solemnly. "We need the healer, you can't walk on that."
