Welcome to story-time with Bunny. Todays story is the banjo story.

Once upon a time, I did some thing where you help out younger kids (fourth grade I think?) with their instruments. I started setting up my instrument and this is what happened.

Random Band Kid: What is that? (Talking about my violin)
Me: Its a vio-
Random Band Kid: Is that a banjo?
Me: T_T Umm...no its a violin.

But really havent most people at least seen a picture of a violin? And why a banjo of all things? Welp story-time is over hope you didnt like it and see you at our next story-time.

Wow. Our bassoonist called a violin a fiddle once and the orchestra never let him forget it.

I can't relate...I play the dulcimer and people are always like, "WhAt Is ThAt???" It drives me nuts because they think it's "such a cool Asian instrument."

Omg, you have an oboe in your band??? We don't have a single one! And our seating is super weird,it goes like this: (Left to right)
Row 1: First flutes and three first clarinets
Row 2: Basson, three second flutes (meee), all clarinets
Row 3: Bass clarinets, Bari saxes, tenors, alto saxes
Row 4: Wall of trumpets, french horns
Row 5: Tuba, trombones, euphonium.

I sit right next to the bassoon, so I'm 3rd-to-last flute. :( We have a wall of trumpets though, idk why)

Its pretty much a small bassoon. She wanted to do the bassoon but her parents were like, Whos paging for that? Theyre pretty expensive do she did oboe instead. Since Im the only violinist I also play the oboe part in the band.

Oh. Our bassoonist plays bassoon and bari, and both are rented by the school. So they're free.

Our school is too small for that. (If you couldnt tell by only one violinist). Our whole band is about...twenty people? Maybe twenty three?
