"Same here, yeah, I love how (Insert character name and action)", She mused, brushing some of her purple hair away from her face with a gloved hand. When the girl laughed and winked at her she turned a shade of pink. *She's so patient, is she an angel?*, Anise mused before shaking her head. *No, she's just a good person.* The tiny people in her head shook hands when her brain came up with the statement. "My name is Anise. I tend to keep to myself, I've been here since I was ten.", Anise said, holding her hand out to the blonde- hoping it was a correct human greeting.

When the other boy fought back a laugh, Theo couldn't help but pout. The expression didn't last long though since nothing could keep his mood down. He just didn't take anything seriously enough for anyone's actions to offend him. "It's alright and I don't take that wrong. I'd say I pride myself on being strange. It's my character quirk, the thing that makes everyone love me!" he added with a wink. Once they shook hands, his grin was right back there in place. "Well, Coriander June...can I call you Cori? I don't think you'll regret becoming my friend. Everyone is my friend, but I sense a bit of a devil in you and that is why we're not true opposites! The truth is, I'm a bit of a devil myself."

Sammy watched them sadly her eyes flashing a ginger from hazel then she sighed being a lone wolf, it came natural with her shifting no one knew and it tore her apart.

Xolia was getting more bored by the minute and decided to leave the lunchroom and look around the school. She'd only just started here this morning and hadn't had a chance to see everything. So she stood up from her table, walking past the others hearing little snippets of their conversation but didn't stop to hear anything else and left the lunchroom.

"It was truly a wonderful part of the book." Lucille smiled. At hearing that's he ah been here a while, her face was definitely surprised.
"It's very nice to meet you, I'm still shocked I haven't come to sit by you sooner. Must be all my essays and work keeping me busy." She laughed, and you could see she had the slightest bit of hesitation before taking her hand. She always felt like she was invading on someone's privacy every time she touched someone. She always saw about ten or so images of their pst, and sometimes they weren't all that pretty... But she mentally shook her head and her smiled returned to her face as she took Anise's hand. As soon as she made contact, her eyes seemed to glaze over for about two seconds, before they went back to normal.
To say the least, she was very surprised at the images she saw.

Coriander snorted a little at the character quirk part, and seemingly his mean demeanor seemed to fade into a more relaxed one.
Cori..? Haven't had anyone call me that in years. But you should let him. Your first name is kinda a mouthful anyways. He thought, before nodding.
"Yeah. Cori works. As for everyone being your friend, I strangely find that easy to believe."
Suddenly, his expression went a little surprised at the devil alrt, and him of course reading into things too muc, started to mentally panic a little.
What does that mean? He doesn't know about me, right? If he knows then I can't stay. Mum'll kill me... He brushed off his panic, knowing he was overthinking it.
"You being a devil quite suits you. As for me, I'm pure as an angel." He smirked and said the last part sarcastically.

Theo tilted his head, giving this particular sequence of thoughts some time to digest. What was there to know about Coriander? Of course, a normal person would respect such privacy, but Theo never gave purity much thought. If he was born with a power that gave him an edge in life, then he should use it. It was as simple as that. But now he wondered if maybe Coriander had a secret of his own...

Flashing a smile, Theo leaned back while trying not to look too snug. "Oh yes, I'm sure you're the perfect picture of an angel. That sarcasm though. I really need to introduce you to everyone. If you have gym next, I can show you off to everyone there!"

Sammy got up to leave the lunch room for her next class sketchbook back in her bag as she sighed and plugged her headphones in.

Coriander felt another wave of panic cross over him. His mother had of course packed him with a fake doctor's note, excusing him from any sort of physical education that required him to remove his beanie and jackets, and the pathetic thing was that the note said he had "weak lungs and asthma". Which was a flat out lie, he was probably faster than everyone in the school, and his stamina was pretty good. He used to want to play sports, that was until his mother prohibited him from leaving the house after the incident in third grade.
"Sarcasm fuels me. Can't live without it. But I won't be doing much in gym next period. I have a condition. Besides, I don't do well with people if you can't already tell."
More lies. Is this how highschool is going to be? You're just going to keep lying about yourself? Life would be so much easier if you were born a normal kid. He thought with a frown.

Tyr stood up. Well James, it was lovely meeting you. Lunch will be over shortly so I think I will start out. He said. He started walking away and humming quietly.
