Lucifer watched his prey silently, keeping his eyes on it so he could grab it before it left. Still, it sat there, blissfully unaware of the creature just yards away.

An instant later, Lucifer struck. He darted forward, grabbing the small creature's neck and crushing its spine easily between his jaws. He held still for a moment, then laid down where he was, intent on eating.

she ducked back in the nest awkwardly

Lucifer ate quietly and slowly, disposing of the corpse after he was finished. Though, today was his leisure day. He didn't have to hunt for other experiments like him.
