For a while Wraith ignored them. They would act like they were normal people, but he constantly saw their faces. Amateurs. The best strategy was always to stay out of sight. Never show your face, and you'll never be caught.

She looked down on the street and they were there. She saw their faces clearly, they all looked the same. Pale white, dark eyes, black hair. Probably vampires... she thought. Probably... she started walking again until she heard a loud thump behind her.

Wraith had been quick to climb a building as well. As he studied their faces, it became apparent that they weren't other assassins, but rather they were something else. The streets were beginning to clear, now that night had fallen. These people knew there was a curfiew. Monsters weren't uncommon. He landed with a soft thud on the roof, glancing down behind him to see if they were still following. However, as he turned his head to look forward, he nearly choked. That girl again! She was right there, looking as if she were in a similar situation.

She turned, and saw the guy that had hesitated to kill her. she looked back down at them, and they looked up at her, then at each other. Their hands turned to flames. " Magic users..." she said, kinda-of a whisper. Thankfully, she have the same element, and the opposite.

Wraith glanced back down at the ones following him. She was right. "Dealing with the same thing?" He asked almost casually.

She looked at him, dead at him, but said nothing. Her gaze returned back to the people below, and she jumped back as they jumped up. They growled at the two of them, ready to strike. She knew everyone around here, no matter if they knew her or not, and she didn't know these 3. They were from somewhere else.

Wraith hummed. He'd seen these things before. In fact, as they jumped up, he recognized one of them. "Gerard? Is that you? I thought I shot you in the head last week."
"You did." Came the hateful, rasping voice of one of them. His hands were surrounded by an icy aura and he closed in with the rest of his companions. Wraith grinned. "Guess I'll have to do it again."

Ciki looked from the guy to the trio, but still said nothing.

As two of the magic-users lunged forward to grab Wraith, the assassin unsheathed his daggers, chuckling as he jumped up, slamming his foot into one of their faces and chucking a dagger at the other.

Ciki knew this wasn't her fight, so she did the thing any logical person would. She turned around and started walking away.
