" I guess she didnt say how to think about it huh? " He laughed.

"Exactly!" She burst out, "It's not like she told me, go and think about how stupid your being. She just said go and think about your decision."

Aaron smiled like he never did. For once in the past three years, He was smiling genuinely. Then he stopped smiling for a second.

" How have you remained happy these past three years? " He asked out of curiosity.

She frowned at his question, that was one many people asked her. She never had a proper answer to that, maybe it was just her way to pretend everything was okay. Maybe she just felt like despite everything she didn't want to change who she was. Instead of trying to come up with a fake answer, she just looked him dead in the eye and spoke in a voice as quiet as a whisper. "I don't know..."

He nodded slowly.

" Youre the first person to make me smile in years... Which is why I asked. Im sorry, it was a bit personal. " He said, noticing her drop of tone.

She shook her head slowly, pulling a smile back onto her face, "It's fine, I just... Have never managed to find a proper answer to that question."

" Anyways... " He changed the subject, not wanting to kill the mood. " It looks like theyre wrapping up the test. I heard they actually have better food here. Wanna get some? " He offered.

Clara perked up, her whole body straightening, "Better food?" She chimed, "Yes! I want better food!!"

Aaron laughed at her reaction. He knew the feeling.

" Lets go then. I think they said it's over by the far end of camp. " He said starting to walk that direction.

Angel looked at her thoughtfully..."Whatever you say"
