"Settle down now Dandelion." Smitty chuckled hopping up on the table a moment. "Listen all that might be near, for I a proposal ye need to hear. I be in the market for a new crew, but not just any old fellow will do. They need to be willin' to work on me ship, and not give their cap'n any sour lip. I need them with brawn, wit and might, those that won't back down from a fight. I don't care if your race or background, in fact I me self have been around. So come one come all to my wayward bunch, if ya ain't afraid to become shark lunch." At this the nixi shook his head with laughter before climbing off the table and padding his way over to the female nixi. "Dandelion! Struck up a dancing tune!" He barked. Before long the whole room was in a buzz of dancing as the qitari plate away on the loot. "May I have this dance m'lady?"

"I'm brawn an' wit an might!" Salty said, dancing happily.

"I think that'll be a fun journey," Cattail smiled

Blue paused and thought about what the Nixi had said. I just might. she said quietly to herself. At least on sea, she had more to fear than losing her job if she lost her temper, so she had less chance of losing her temper and reacting badly.

"Well look, I guess my job problem is solved," Aria said to the Morkko. "I'd love to work on the sea," she added wistfully.

"Me?" Seren said, looking up at the other nixi. The vixen smiled and tilted her head slightly. "Sure, I don't mind... Mr...?" She was intrigued by what he had said earlier. A job opportunity? Perhaps he would allow her on the ship! She would help out.

Outside, the Aurleon swooped around in the sky. His sharp eyes trained on the ground and a ruckus could be heard from the tavern below.

Jams walked in to the loudness music with his wife(won't rap her once we get on the boat)"may I have this dance?" He asked her.they started a small jig together her laughing and smiling

"Please just call me Smitty." The nixi said leading her towards the middle of the room. As the music played he stood on his hind legs doing a sort of jig before beckoning her to join him.

She winked and then joined him, standing on her legs the same way he had, mimicking the pattern at which he moved. "Okay, Smitty. I'm Seren, it's nice to meet ya." As she moved she decided to ask him about the job. "So... about this crew you're putting together. I'm interested- you would like a pair of paws to help on deck and no one else seems to want a woman on their ship."

"I care only that you can work." The tod smiled before again standing on all fours again. "My last crew abandoned ship, due to no ones fault but their own, and left only me and Dandelion. I need a few extra paws or hooves about the deck to help out."

"Are you two married?" Salty asked the two, while Cattail looked on, waving his fluffy tail.
