Winry saw Melody's thumbs up out of the corner of her eye and barely restrained a grin. She turned back to the police officer. "Alright, apologies, but just give the poor girl her pens back," she said.

The man, who's name tag read 'Willie', shook his head. "No way, kid. Not going to. You lot are here for a reason- and that reason is-"
His voice was cut off as he let out a yelp. Behind him, Melody sat innocently, her eyes wide with what was fake shock.
"Are you alright, sir?" She asked. 'Willie' watched her warily, rubbing his back as she continued to speak. "I hear that extremely active people will sometimes have shocks that are caused by their tired muscles." Anyone who had deeper knowledge of anatomy would know this was a lie, but she managed to convince him.
When he left, she held up what looked like a regular pen- then mouthed the words: Prank; shock pen.

Winry grinned at Melody. "Nice one," she hissed. She leaned her head against the back of her chair. "I guess I was wrong about the whole 'pens aren't dangerous' thing," she whispered.

Marie felt someone punch her seat, and she growled. She stood up, turning her head sharply. "Hey! The bus ride is shaky enough. I don't need someone punching my seat!"

Damen barely turned, just enough to watch the unfolding events. He had found that you could learn more about people by watching them, without interfering. He glanced back to his hands, folded in his lap, and sighed slightly.
