"Y-you mean you aren't scared of me?" Soul asked with a confused look.

"No, my best friend when I was small had a bone mask, just like you."

"Really?" Was this true?! She would love to have a friend!!

"Come with me. Climb on my back, I will give you a ride to the village, where you can get food and make more friends!"

"On your back? Don't you think I'm a tad big for that?"

"I am strong, I can manage."

Violet pawed ad Desire's fluffy tail as he passed. He swept it away from the kit, annoyed by her presence. Apparently another hatchling would also be housed in the camp. A Puffadore of all things, too. The Lupora stormed off, shaking his head. He couldn't handle being in a group sometimes, especially when there were so many different species.

Astra watched as Desire disappeared again into the undergrowth. She comforted a confused and sleepy Violet, curling around her while the kitten fell asleep. Now that darkness had settled on the land, the runes on her fur glowed softly, giving off a faint light. She hated the glow sometimes, thinking it hard to sleep with lights. Other times, the soft light comforted her.

"Really? I-I've never flown before..."

"If you hold on tight, it is really fun." I say, a little bit amused by the fae's uncertainty.
