Desire grumbled deep in his throat as he stalked though the undergrowth. A small prey animal lay in front of him, still unaware of his presence. Leaping silently through the air, he landed on his meal and ate quickly, like always. He was an instinctually fast eater. His senses always told him to be on edge, no matter the situation. Desire was always patrolling the area around the group's camp, whatever that may be at the time. They moved often, avoiding tamers and the like.

Astra purred as Violet swatted at her fluffy tail. Her tiny fangs closed on it, but the Lighira didn't mind. She'd had cubs before, so tiny Vulnyx teeth were no problem. Violet turned to the feathers on Astra's wings. She plucked out a small one and batted it up into the air. Astra chuckled as she watched the overexcited kitten.

I was a more recent addition, though I'd been wild for many years. I knew all the best tricks to avoiding capture (which seemed unlikely, if Desire's constant vigilance was anything to go by) like flying away. I would run from battles. I would avoid the Sylestis and attack their owners. I hated humans. Almost as much as myself.
I watched Violet playing with a feather and allowed a small smile. I wish more than anything that I had an offspring that I could keep, that wouldn't be bred and sold unfertilized.
I was currently in the small stream by our new camp. "You goof," I told the hatchling when she tumbled closer to me.

A small speckled egg nearby shook

I looked at the egg curiously and scooped it up in my talons. "Hmm?" I didn't know what to do. I never got to see an eggling hatch before. "Are you hatching?" Of course, I realized, the egg wouldn't hear me. I was glad I had extra arms as I cradled the egg a little closer.

A small face of a Puff popped out. "Myeh!"

"Aw, hi there!" I scooped up the little puff, smitten with how cute the little furball was. I decided that, no matter what, I would take care of them.

"B-bi... big!" It beamed happily

I cooed and held the pufdadore to my snout and looked them over. (Boy or a girl?) "Aren't you the cutest!"
