Thanks PurpleStarlightWolf, I really appreceat your support, and good wishes. Though even after the surgery I'll still have my common easy to cope with joint pain, but at least it wont be the kind of pain that will make me cry like I've been having with the cyst.

Would you like to be pinged when I have further updates?

I had concidered it, however the gofundme I had to try and get help for my service dog totally floped.

Thankfully though this kind of surgery is really routine, and the surgeon performing it is good. Though I'm still scared but thats largely due to medical settings, and drs are triggers for my PTSD and Panic Disorder.

If you wish to help as directly as you can send me a pm and we can descuss how you want to help out ok. Thanks so much for your support!

Would you like updates? If somI can add you to the ping list.

Hi LDD c: Carple Tunnel sucks :( I used to have carple tunnel when I was younger ( about 9 years old?) It wasn't bad, but I had limited motion etc because of it, like you do. Having gone through what you have ( althoguh, again, not nearly as bad, since the swelling in my tendons went down significantly and I now have full range of motion in my wrist) Of course I was younger and didn't have a daughter to care for as you do, and you have a much harder time with it than I did. All I can say is, don't push yourself too hard, okay. You don't want to hurt yourself even more. If you sleep with a splint, it helps, especially if you sleep with your wrist bent. The reason I had it was because I would sleep the entire night with my wrist bent, and eventually carple tunnel happened aha. The splint will help to keep your wrist straight, so it won't hurt as badly as it would having no splint at all, if you don't already sleep with a splint on your wrist, I highly suggest getting one.

Yeah, but the Carple Tunel is secondary and is minor thankfully. The bulk of the pain and limited motion is actually caused by the cyst due to its location. The cyst is slightly moble wich means that it can and does press on a major nerve in the wrist as well as the major vain in the wrist too which causes numbness, tingling, limited use and limited range. But The splint idea does sound like a good one. Im not sure if my wrist brace would work for that. I'll see if I can get a splint for it, though I dont know where I would get one other than the ER or maybe from my dr or physical therapist after the surgery. I'll call my Dr's office and find out. Thanks for recomendation, and the support.
