Guilty stopped again and looked back, biting his bottom lip. He then walked back and slid a arm around her for support and help her get up. He glanced at her ankle and saw how much she had messed it up. " I'm guessing you don't walk around near the cavern a lot do you? " he asked, not looking at her anymore but at a speck of dirt that seemed much more interesting.

Caroline couldn't help but smile. He was so easy to make embarrassed... " You mean John? " she replied. " We broke up up ages ago...do you not ever read the letters I send? " she asked curiously. She remember a letter she sent to him ranting about how John was a culo and a stupido man...
She couldn't help but laugh at the face he was making. It somehow reminded her of her roommate's dog, he constantly poked his tongue out...

W-what's happening?!

Noticing a few people leave the funeral, Kora felt she had spent long enough in the cemetery. As she glided away from the crowd she spotted her gathering partner, Seraphim, weeping. The two had just started working together recently, and although it had been a bit weird to be working with another mermaid at first, Kora was warming up to her. Maybe I should go over, but what would I say Kora struggled over the decision to go over to the upset mermaid. In the end she felt that now was not the best time and that they would probably talk when they went to do their next gathering, whenever that would be. She let out a sigh, it was sad to see a life lost, but at the same time, life was lost and reborn every day. It was a part of life and no one could prevent it. Swimming through the coral at the edge of the cemetery, her mood perked. She was not going to let this death get her down like the others, instead she danced in and around the coral, playing peek-a-boo with the fish and seahorses.

Stepping down into the Submarine viewing room, Xoe could finally breath. She had almost given herself a panic attack, and over what? She stared around the sub, surprised at how large and spacious it was. There were clusters of people already seated near the front, including the girl who had been offering cookies. She seemed to have settled into a comfortable position. Xoe counted more males than females on the Sub, but there were surely more people to come.


Alec could feel that Xoe was feeling calmer now. He had no idea why she had been so upset by the merman. Alec had been surprised but he was more interested in getting to know about merpeople. His brain was still buzzing with all those questions. Alec looked away from Xoe to check out the sub and was distracted by the amazing view of the sea outside, that one of the portholes was providing. Leaving his sisters side he went over to a window and gawked out.

Xoe watched her brother wander off to find a good viewing seat. She shuffled out of the way of the group of boys who were following them down into the sub. She willed herself to calm down, after all she was just being ridiculous.

Seraphim had seen Kora look back at her and had wanted the company, since her sister had decided to leave with Eu, Ayame and Yui. " Hi Kora, do you think we have to work today? Were running low on "pills"... Could I come with you if we did?" Seraphim wanted to be distracted from the fact a friend of hers had died.

Ryuko spotted Yui, Eu and Ayame chatting in the back corner. " Do you wanna go get lunch, we cant be starving ourselves we have to do our jobs still..." she grabbed Eu and Ayame's hands. Ayame had been holding Yuis hand so she was dragging everyone. " Fine, Ill go but whos gonna cook food? Every other cook I bet is still crying." Yui whiped away her tears. "Oh ya... Ryuko I bet well have to baby sit the children who's parents have to work." Ayame smiled at the thought of children visiting on this sad day, thay always cheer her up. " Yep and I guess I'll have to still go hunting. Oh great, I forgot where I put my knife... and my net... and my spear." Eu laughed and swam forward, releasing her grip on Ryukos hand.

(Kitsumetails, we haven't really done anything yet. The Sea Creatures are visiting the dead character Tommy's casket and the Humans are all shuffling into the submarine.)

Claire was shocked that he had stopped and helped her. It didn't seem like he would at the time. "No, I don't... Why do you?" She asked while he slowly helped lifted her up, "Carry me?" She asked, slightly more quiet than her first question. She had only just met this guy and she was asking him to carry her. Truth was, even with him helping to support her weight, she might not even be able to walk. Her ankle was still slightly bleeding and she could taste the blood in the water.

Brandon laughed, "No, I swear I read them. It's just sometimes they're hard to understand because you use Italian lingo." He said and pushed her lightly on the shoulder. "You're becoming a true Italian!" He said with a laugh. "But um... I was talking to someone, can we catch up later?" He asked and took her hand, leading her over to the front of the submarine.

Elahrirah cleared his throat, a stiff nod following a silent and awkward pause. He felt guilty, not having tears for Tommy, so he turned his head away, trying to find words to reply with. Finally, he managed a scratchy response, the tightness in his throat making it difficult for his words to form properly. "He's in a better place now... at least that's what they say," he said with a sigh, unsure what kind of consolation such a response would be. His eyes went to hers for a brief moment, and then detached. "Sometimes, it... it was like he was a little brother...." Now half talking to himself, Elahrirah lowered his voice. "Not that he wouldn't be a pest sometimes."

Kora stopped playing with the fish. She had heard Seraphim talking to her, apparently she still needed to learn social situations. She smiled at Seraphim, "I was wondering that, maybe we could go search for them in a little while." Kora wanted to make sure Seraphim had given all her goodbyes, "had you heard the rumors that a group of humans were visiting?"
Kora looked around nervously, with humans about she would have to be careful what she said. She did not want the nasty nicknames of her childhood to be remembered.
"Wouldn't it be interesting if they were true?" Kora murmured to herself. Although she was nervous, she had always had a fascination with humans.



((Side note, Kora Hates being coined 'Siren'. It was a nickname she got when little, so if you want to upset her just taunt her with that :D might put this on her profile))

"Are you waiting for me to say good bye to Tommy?" Seraphim laughed and whiped away her tears she hugged Kora and said " Ya I heard it from Ryuko, apparently one of the boys either made a rumor or they have met a human, whos coming down here. How do you think they would come down here ya know? Its not like they have gills." Sera started twords the exit then came back and grabbed Koras hand " You coming?" She asked with a smile.
