I almost opened my mouth to complain, but at the last moment, I changed my mind. All I did was give a nod in response, somewhat disappointed that I was going to miss first class based purely on the assumption that this was more than my nerves.

Unwillingly, I followed Erin out of the room. Though as soon as the door closed behind us, I felt somewhat dizzy - whether it was a change in temperature, or atmosphere in general, I could not be sure. This light-headed feeling forced me to stop for a moment, extending an arm out so that I could lean against the wall. Gervasius seemed wary of remaining on my shoulder, but nonetheless, he kept quiet.

"Hang on, I just need a se-"

My voice cut off as a blackness forced its way across my vision. I felt everything go numb, and I lost all control of my body.

I hit the floor with quiet some force, though I did not feel the pain. I blankly stared for a moment, stunned, before my muscles went entirely limp and I slipped into unconsciousness.

Rhys sat, impressed with the class. He hoped Piper shared in his enthusiasm for working with the Tzala. Rhys raised his hand, waiting to be called on before he asked his question "when do we find out which Tzala we're working with?" Rhys asked



Sylver and the other Tzara were excited about learning to control their shadows and other shadows, and Sylver was most excited to learn they would be working with the Argi. After a few more minutes of the lessons, master Zatar handed out lists of basic and easy spells the class could work on trying to use, they were allowed to split into groups, so naturally, the class flocked over to the advanced students.

Stover ended up working with Raven and Izaac from her advanced group, while the other girl went off with her own friends. They easily managed to learn a few spells, like how to move their shadows in ways that defy logic, and how to change the appearance of shadow. "../ .-- --- -. -.. . .-./ .-- .... . -./ .-- ./ --. . -/ - ---/ .-.. . .- .-. -./ .. -. ...- .. ... .. -... .. .-.. .. - -.--" Sylver said to her friends. They both shrugged, hoping it would be soon.

Only Argi learn invisibility- they use light to make it flow through their body. When light goes through them, they show up inivisible.

Master Ciana nodded to the class. "You'll know tomorrow who your third member of your group of three is-
but now, you will get to pick your partner. You will get to pick the Tzala tomorrow, and the three of you must try to create a duplicate. Now, go along, pick your partner."

Piper spun to face Rhys. "You, me, Sylver, group of three?" she asked, in one breath.

Kittycatz, are you quitting the rp? It's okay if you do, as Katie hasn't been in the rp for a while...

"Exactly what I was hoping" Rhys said. "So you won't get stuck with that other creep" Rhys said more under his breath. "So, do you want to try first?" He offered, not entirely sure if he'd be able to pull off invisibility.

(I've always imaging Tzala being able to merge with their shadows or maybe even put stuff inside their shadows, like a very odd back pocket or something, like, a Tzala could allow themselves or an object to enter their shadow.)

Oh, okay, that sounds better. We can call it Shadow Melting.

"Oh, just call Xander a brainless walrus," she said, giggling to herself. "Anyway, we should try changing colors, maybe even try to dim the lights."

"Alright, maybe, it has something to do with refracting and reflecting light or something like that, right? I don't know, but I get the idea, I'm going to try it I guess." Rhys said, focusing, his hair turning a bright neon cyan color. "Did it work?" He asked

Piper stared for a moment before bursting into laughter at the contrast with his tan skin and bright blue hair. "Wow Rhys, you should keep it like that-" giggle "-you'll get all the girls-" she broke off into more laughter, then wiped away a fake tear.
