Gradient turned around to face Lysa. Wait, what? First of all, how did the police follow her, and second... Why did Lysa decide to FOLLOW Gradient after their encounter? Perfection, Gradient. Gradient straightened his back and lifted his chin.

"Hm..." He said, kneeling down. "This Drapion-" Gradient stood up, face stone cold, not showing his shock. "Doesn't this belong to the Champion of Sinnoh?" Gradient asked. He quickly searched it up on his RotomDex, coming to a resolute YES.

"Hey, Drapion." Gradient called. "Do you know where your trainer is?" Gradient scrolled through the possibilities in his head, calculating that this would do Gradient at least a sprinkle of good.

"Wait, this is Cynthia's pokemon?" Lysa asked, looking frantic.

" here it is!" Thomas exclaimed lifting his head from the dirt pulling out a small locked chest and placing it at Yuri's feet. " So this is it we just need to open it?" she asked skeptically. Thomas sighed seeming slightly off set " No not quite, It only opens if the trainer and Pokemon can open it with a skill, and its based on your bond, Uncle Max didn't make it easy, otherwise it wouldn't be a Quest. " he sad pulling himself out of the hole. " Well then this should be a breeze!" Yuri exclaimed Vul leaping from her arms ready to begin ."Vul-Vul-Pix!" he chirped. " Alright then! Vul Use Blizzard with all ya Got!" she said pumped up, Thomas covered his face and mumbled " Not again.." within seconds the ground around them was covered in snow, but melted away whit a flame thrower from Ren.
The chest was still sealed shut, " Hmm, well we could try Icy wind?" she said questionably, Vul releasing a powerful icy wind that could be felt dramatically from all around, but the cold did not seen to phase Yuri even though Thomas was shivering uncontrollably. but still the chest remained closed, Yuri and Vul tried a few other attacks before Yuri got a brilliant Idea. " Wait! we haven't used his new one! but its still not fully under control....." she said slightly scared " well with an attitude like that it won't work.... you got to trust him, and even more so yourself.." Thomas said still shivering Ren attempting to keep him warm. "Right!" Yuri said determined " You ready Vul... give this one everything you have left!" she said holding a hand up in the air. she hadn't mad a hand signal for this one yet, but for some reason this signal felt right, as Vul growled an icy power in the form of a strong wind swirling about him and his trainer. "Aurora Beam" Yuri yelled over the loud sounds of wind. Vul releasing a bright colorful beam of light at the chest, that rebounded into the sky and could be seen across the island. The two stopped panting having given it everything they had left, and the chest was finally open. With a smile Yuri crumpled into a heap Vul unconscious in her lap. Thomas stood and collected the contents of the chest before Picking Yuri up and releasing Yuri's Riolu to assist with caring for Vul Ren close at his side. " Alright lets head back to the Poke center to get these guys some rest. " Thomas said shooting Riolu a kind smile. the two unaware of the poke centers current state

Umbreon's circular markings started pulsing. He seemed to be on full alert.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Lysa asked.
"Umbreon jumped out of Lysa's arms and streaked into the forest, Lysa in fast pursuit.
Every few seconds, Umbreon would look back to see if his trainer was still following him.
At last he stopped. A blizzard blew ferociously in one area, followed by a blast of fire.
"Come on Umbreon, let's go down and get a closer look."
Umbreon hopped on Lysa's back and the two headed towards the commotion.
As they got closer, they saw a few young trainers trying to break open a box of some sort.
"Need some help?" Lysa asked.

(They are on their way back to the poke center now..Yuri and her Vulpix are unconscious, Riolu is crying him with Thomas's Vulpix Ren at his side, And Thomas is carrying Yuri)

Lysa runs up to them, "What's wrong?!" she asks, worry spread across her face.

Thomas chuckled" Just trained a little too hard that's all" he said flashing a bright smile " Hey you mind helping us back to the Poke Center though? I'm not really the best with directions" he said kindly and without a glimmer for falseness. though he was quite skilled with directions they needed to keep a low profile, so a convincing smile and playing dumb would have to work for now.

"Ummmm.... The pokecentre sorta... blew up." Lysa said.

"What?!"Thomas shouted in surprise Ren perking her ears up "Vul...Pix" she chirped

"Yeaaahhhh. Some idiot blew it up." Lysa said. It was a half truth. She was an idiot. Why did she ever join Team Skull? "I regret my decision..." she murmured to herself.
