"Her second-oldest brother is way worse. He can give a full lecture nonstop on anything under the stars and once he starts, he doesn't really stop."

"Annoying...but sometimes helpful. The oldest is a brainiac when it come sto fixing stuff and he doesn't leak out about stuff like...um...the time my brother and I may or may not have broken the banister of the grand staircase."

" How'd you manage to do that? "

"No clue. We still don't know." Callen shrugged.

" That sounds fun. I don't have any friends to do stuff like that with. "

"I mean, it kind of is but at the same time I'm pretty much the only person keeping everyone from doing the more...dangerous stuff. I swear they'd be dead if I wasn't around." Callen chuckled. Then frowns. "You mean..you've never had friends?"

" No. " she replies bluntly.
