One of them nods and says he heard a supposed champion of Hades was seen in a village on the other side of the woods.

"Which direction?"Hato ask the person? He had no plan at all to be truthfully. But if its was Hades's Champion he might as well meet him in person. He has a growing hate for Hades but wanted to meet other champions so this was his best shot.
