Hello everyone! I'm sorry for being a day late with announcing the winners, but I sadly ran out of time to patch this all up before being sent home. I enjoyed every single entry and I'm so thrilled that I had so many people participating in this small contest. I once again give me thanks to you all for support this thread and participating in the many activities. Anyways, the first rounds winners of the Winter Carnival Design Contest are. . .
~ 1st ~ Grapjuice Rocky Road Ferrikki
I absolutely ADORE this fluffy little pair! They turned out amazing against their assigned theme. The browns that you choose to use on them works near perfectly against the white and creamy orange highlights. Their spunky feathers look blended with the rest of their body and while the orb is lacking colour it looks splendid against the dark brown tail. Finally, I am so glad that you choose the lunar traits to decorate it all off. They are by far my favourite trait for the Rikki and it looks splendid against the pollen and it's yummy decor. Congratulations and fantastic job!

~ 2nd ~ Dragongem23 Spinach Ice Cream Aeridini
Despite how repulsive I think this flavour may seem, I really love what you have done with this idea. Your Aeri's look bright and enjoyable and remind me strongly of an alien flavoured ice cream I had on a very enjoyable vacation. Their wings are vibrant and draw you're attention to their fine detail. The monarch trait looks so beautiful on top of the green fade, which is made even more stunning the the white "jewels" at the tips of those leafy wings. I LOVE the comparison from bright and vibrant to a more muted green on their slender frame. The nature guard traits make this lil pair look even more attractive! Congratulations and amazing job.

Limor Lavender Ice Cream Lighira
I have never in my life heard of lavender ice cream, and honestly I am very eager to get my hands on some now. Your design is soft yet so stunning. I'm not to amazing at putting together muted colours, but you made it work together just perfectly. The traits that you used highlight the soft approach of this well crafted desert. The life lines look very beautiful against the slightly darker shades beneath them. Congratulations and great job!
