As usual Sanshi's island smells strongly of dead things, but at least Alix isn't in the Hole anymore.

Yeah. Sanshi's aware of the bad smell, and takes her to Heniri's part of the island. It's just a large blue-grey field with grass taller than Alix is, and it smells vaguely like cut grass.
