I do what I am supposed to, sacrificing a large portion of my breakfast to the gods. I then sit down quietly, murmur a small prayer, and then pick up the fork, before setting it down. Maybe I could practice my skills a bit now... I hover my hand above the fork, concentrating, forming shadows, trying to get the shadows to move the fork up a couple of centimeters into my waiting hand.

Some of them shrug and others shake their heads. Most seem not to know the war is going on.
Hato sits down as he gets to a stopping point. He then goes around and asks if they know any place were rumors has started of other Demigods wandering around.

She quirked an eyebrow and called "Mira! get over here!" A young girl of maybe 7 rushed over. She looked up at you curiously "Yes mama?"
He raised an eyebrow, realising she may be married, "Does the small sweet need help?"
The man smiles "Well She's making some delicious toast and eggs. Come join us." he gestures to the table.
I sit down slowly.."Thank you!"
