He looked up at the stars, wondering if he could see any formations he'd read about. He got out his sleeping mat, careful not to disturb Mystic and lay down on it, not moving his lap int he process.. somehow..

Before it can attack you you hear a howl in the distance the creature gives an annoyed snarl and bounds off into the undergrowth.

Out of the corners of your eyes you see flashes of movement and the repeat sounds seem to sound sneering
