ooh its looking great so far! I would personally suggest adding some more contrast, in doing that those golds will really shine. This can be achieved by changing the base color and perhaps some of the gene colors. I think darkening up that body and wings will really help. Some of the yellows can also be tweaked to get some more variation in the colors tones. Throwing in some oranges can help too, and won't take from the original to much.

I put some purple in instead of orange! It does add more of a contrast. :) Looks a bit regal, too!
perhaps blue or green?

There are a lot of green and yellow flowers you could name your design after. I think Golden Ragwort?
OR
The national colors of Australia are green and gold~

Okay, so this one's a bit different.
This time, I'm looking for critique on a dye dyesign
(GET IT? DYESIGN?! HA H-no.)
The dye project will be performed on my friend Fai'ahato, and is currently a WIP:
Here's what I wish to have when I'm done, though color swing may change it:
As you can see, I've done C1, C2, C3, G2, M1, and M2.
I still need EC, M3, and A2.
Oh, and I may also do the carries/hiddens.
Here's what she would look like with complete vis colors, visible carries, and vis hiddens:
(OH GOD THE MAGMAROCK BUBBLES)
If I wish to fix it, I would have to add G1, G3, and A1 to my bucket list.
That means I would change all her hexes.
And that doesn't account for color swing!
(I've already gotten color swinged on C2.)
Here's an optimal result with carried/hidden dyed:
Whew, much better.
So what do y'all think of the design? I was mainly basing it on volcanos and lava.
Critique is welcome, and so are pet dyes!
(Hmm.. maybe I could sell offspring with those colors and magmarock traits..)
