he nodded " it sounds complicated..... but it feels nice " he said simply still not having let go of your hand

he woke up in a sleepy daze " is the bald man comming back to chase me?" he asked drowsily as if he didnt exactly understand where he was yet

"Yeah." I said stiffiling a yawn. I started up the car with my free hand and drove home. Once home I looked in the closet for the card deck.

"Oh, can I wake it," She poked it again but nothing happened. "It won't wake up," She complained poking it more.

" Oh! Like it calms you down like whenyour scared of the Dark!" he said seeming to have made some connection there

I shake my head and lightly pet his hair I hadn't grabbed a notepad with me, it was still on the counter so I couldn't exactly tell him where he was so I wait for him to fully wake up

he followed closely as always peering arround your shoulder

I nodded. "Something like that." I agreed. I put my face in his chest trying to block out my thoughts. "Sorry." I mumbled. I didn't want to upset him by being to close, but I also didn't want to get away from him even though my anxiety was spiking. He was just really warm.

" Evrything ? Humans are so strange to demons like me with their wird type of false hierarchy. I want to see this world, to learn how humans hunt, how they live and how they prove themself." She said happilly.

I stood on my tiptoes trying to grab the pack of cards without making anything else fall. "Stupid shortness." I told myself. I tried poking the box to no avail before I turned to grab a chair.
