Matthew tenses. "Hey guys, I know you're having fun and all but I hear footsteps."

Phoenix groans. "Oh great....let's see, where idd I put those smoke bombs?" He starts digging through his Pouch of TOo Much Random Stuff That he Absolutely Doesn't Need.

"Well I was planning to make an illusions but that also works I guess."

"I can try and make myself invisible...maybe, she just taught us a bit of the theory in class, but I was paying attention."
She tries the invisibility spell The professor had started teaching them.

You flicker out of view but start to get tired.

Phoenix pulls out string, glass shards, feathers, bottle of strange liquid, a stick, a sandal (?!), and a box laeled "Lithium" before pulling out a tiny pouch. "Found it. Hope it still works." He attempts to activate it.

"Don't kill us all."

Aerilyn whispers, "I don't think I can hold this for long you guys. Figure out if they are friend or foe quick so I can drop this as quick as possible."

"Got it," says Matthew.
He taps his fingers on the wall and appears to vanish. If you squint you can see a ripple in the air as he moves.
A few minutes later, he reappears, breathing heavily.
"Bad news, guys, someone tall holding something. They looked my direction so I ran before I could see more."

Phoenix tosses down the smoke bomb. "Oh yeah, forgot to mention, these things sometimes act weird. Like y'know, teleporting the users to random places."
