"How strange. What is a 'nut'?" she frowned, "And what is a rare? This world is so strange"

You see a few hair clips on one of the cabinets.

"It's a type of seed with nutrients. That's a nut, and rare is meat that is partially cooked but still has blood." Crystal said trying to explain.

I grab some of the hair clips and try to pick the lock.

The hair clips were in their normal state and wouldn't fit into the lock.
