The tiger didn't respond to you, though it did relax a little when your bow was completely away. Behind you, you felt Shallor stop fiddling in your bag. He stepped out from behind you and approached the tiger fearlessly, clutching a piece of dried meat from your satchel. He held it out to the tiger, who cautiously sniffed it, and then gently licked it from the pal of his hand. The tiger stood up and looked at you innocently.
"She's sweet," Shallor giggled.

He chuckled. "That defintely seem sto be the case.." He knelt next to them. "I've seen several tigers before but few of them cared to walk right up to me and not go for my head."

The tiger hesitantly stepped forward and licked your hand, though its tongue covered your entire hand. It was rather big for a tiger with saber fangs much longer than any you've seen, and somehow, you thought that it perhaps wasn't full-grown still.
"There's an animal-keeper in my home," Shallor told you.

(Just a reminder, but as you are an elf, you would know the actual names for the elven kinds - sun elves are harlyyns, stone elves are eols, and moon elves are sterrinochs)
You approach the figure, and find that it's a sterrinoch (moon elf). As you approach, he shoots you a disdainful look. "You're a ways from home, eol. There's none of your kind out around these parts, far as I know," he said distractedly.
