I motion for Brilliance to head to the forest. As we tread over there I close my eyes and listen to the sounds of the night. I love owls and some bats are pretty adorable.

You let Brilliance lead you into the forest. He takes you to a somewhat hidden clearing and begins pawing at the dirt and grass to make a somewhat comfortable sleeping place.

While he does that I look around and gather up moss and thicks leaves. I find a huge one and we use it as a blanket. We curl up and again I whisper goodnight and again three voices only I can hear whisper back.

Dawn comes and you awake to silence. There is no gentle breeze in the treea, no birds to wake you up. The grass has turned to ice so small, it breaks at a single touch. Brilliance sits beside you, tilting his head in curiosity.
It's freezing.
