Shell kept her focus on the jut ahead of them and jumped barely managing to scrabble onto the smaller jut after it. The next jut was ragged and uneven so she had to stick her tail out in an odd angle to keep her balance.

Knuckles shook his head. "Keep your wings straight, it'll give you some lift, allow you to stay in the air longer,"

Shell bit her lip. "I am doing that." she clutched the edge of the jut and spread her wings out straighter preparing to jump onto the next. She tensed and leaped fore legs extended to grab the ledge if the gliding went wrong. She landed, and got an idea. "I mean I could just swim there. Not as in going under the water's surface I mean in what you do on the water's surface with your legs."

Knuckles pondered over this for a second. "It's risky. What if that thing comes back? If you think that's best though..."

"The thing...pfft I'm a seadragon chillax I can out swim that thing...Imma give it a name real quick, The ugly duckling." Shell leaped of the jut spreading out her wings and swam like a fish.(btw today is my birthday)

"Okay, you do that," Knuckles said.

(thanks ^-^) She swan onward it began to grow dark and she powered on ahead not at all bothered by the lack of light.

"Lemme help ya out there," Knuckles said, holding the yellow emerald in both hands. He muttered something, causing it to glow brighter, and yawned. "Some light..." he said simply.

Shell squinted her eyes at the sudden light. "I'm fine, remember I'm a sea dragon. It gets dark under water, that's why the whole see in the dark thing exists."

"Oh. Extinguish," Knuckles mumbled, and the light faded until it was reduced to a faint glow. "Better?"
