"Don't you humans use man as a nickname? Like dude, or bro?", The Ishnu asked, scratching her chin. "Alright, do what you wish, I'll just follow along because I'm bored."

Alex started towarss the exit. He figured the others would be ocming to the front also

"Thats different.z" he sighed to the ishnu.

Since his Ishnu was probably being used by a teacher or somthing Gale didn't bother looking for her as he followed his friends while humming a song.

Aidy followed with a yawn. "I just feel bad for my stupidity earlier, and I'm tired. I had to wake up at three this morning.", Aidy said, stretching.

(Aww, I am sure it was a great idea! I just get confused easy.)

Zev waved goodbye to Aidy then ran up to his master. He smiled. Sir, you ever heard of anyone letting their Ishnu go free? I mean, does that ever happen. He asked, somewhat awkwardly.

*What stupiditiy? And by the way, i dont care if you go yodeling about not sleepijg early tonight. Youre going straight to bed ASAP because i do not need a tired ishnu to drag around. " alex sighed.

I followed behind the group slowly, letting them all pass infront. I pondered Zev's question for a minute.

"Well, I've seen Ishnu that live on their own. They're very low class, don't own businesses or anything, but if they get lucky their able to live on their own." I glanced at him "They usually don't have very good living conditions though, and people awfully don't like them." I turned to look at him fully, slowly walking backwards.

"I say lucky because as you know almost all Ishnu are born into servitude, and as such they are obligated to the system, as a result of such they have a hard time working themselves out. The household servants at my aunts are the 3rd generation. They get beds to sleep in and food to eat, and my aunt isn't cruel without reason. So while it may be different in other households, I'm sure you can understand why most Ishnu would go with security over freedom."

"Yelling, making myself look like a fool. I just hate nicknames and being treated less than someone who hasn't worked as hard me and my people.", Aidy sighed, tunning a hand through her braided hair. "Thanks for the offer but no, I can hold up, I'm not blacking out just yet. Also, I thought you cared about me for a moment." Aidy laughed whole-heartedly.

"Who said i never did?" Alex rolled his eyes. "And no excuses. If we're getting an early start tomorow, I don't need you falling asleep o nthe job from lack of sleep. Been there done that **** almost failed exams."

Zev sighed. The older Ishnu used to tell me what freedom was like, the stories they got from thier parents. Not your version of freedom, the Ishnu kind. It sounded wonderful. I like to think we'd feel that again, real freedom, but I doubt it'll come without blood. He mumbled. He looked down at Cypress and shrugged. His walk turned to a skip and he began to skip towards their destination.
