She rolled her eyes, Tough in mind is different from in body. If the elk and I were engaged in a match of insults or wit rather then of brawn, I would best him. Besides, an elk is not something to *survive*, as you put it. You survive a storm, but defeat an elk.

A maid knocked on your door. You saw her dip her head, "Your father is calling for you in the throne room" she ducked her head and backed out of the room before you could do anything. This could be the final moment.

As you passed, you saw another servant running down the corridor sobbing. They wee covered in fresh wounds. It wasn't an unusual sight, but it looked better than the usual beating. It was quiet that morning. When you got there, everyone seemed to be waiting for you. Alex was wearing full golden armour that covered his wings and his lance was spattered with blood. he'd taken his helmet off for now. The queen was not present.

The corridors were quiet and not a soul was in sight. In the throne room, your brother was stroking his caladrius and your mother waiting patiently. She was standing straight, shoulders back and looks very stiff and serious.

Various servants passed by, bowing their heads as you both passed. There seemed to be commotion outside of one of the windows, above the castles training arena.
Kaea looked back at Todd. "I am going to see what the noise is." And she dashed toward the noise.
