A rippling feeling bumped her wings, and she froze. Turning her head slowly to the right, she saw two sentries swimming by, flashing Aquatic at each other. Wave and Splash, she realized, slowly making her way to the other side of the room and hoping against hope that her brothers didn't notice the ripples from her movement.
She's not that bad, Wave flashed, an odd, defensive look on his face. Royals-
Splash halted him with a raised talon. Did you feel that?
They were both silent and motionless for several seconds.
I didn't feel anything, Wave replied, and Hurricane closed her eyes in relief.
Splash frowned and gestured for them to continue. Hurricane waited for several seconds to make sure her brothers were gone, and when she was certain, she slowly turned the corner and sped out into the open ocean.

Once they were there, she headed straight to the genealogy scrolls, noting but not reacting to any of the other towering shelves of books. The scrolls were enchanted, she knew; the NightWing animus Starcatcher had enchanted them several centuries ago to immediately show the names and ancestry of all NightWing dragonets as they were named. "Truthseeker, Truthseeker, Truthseeker..." she mumbled, pulling out one of the newer scrolls and poring through it.
